About these terms
AutoMotersIndia (“we”, “us”) runs automotorsindia.com (the “Service”). By visiting or using it you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old, or use it with a parent or guardian.
What the Service is
We are an information and introduction platform. We publish specifications, prices and reviews of vehicles and accessories, offer calculators and comparisons, and let you ask dealers and finance partners for quotes. We do not sell vehicles, we are not a dealer, and we do not lend money.
Information and prices
Specifications and prices come from manufacturers, dealers and other sources, and we show where they came from and when we checked them. They can change without notice. On-road prices are estimates worked out from the ex-showroom price and the charges of your state. Read our Disclaimer and Data and Pricing Methodology.
Your account
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password. Keep your device and password safe, give true information and tell us if you think someone else used your account. You may close your account at any time from your privacy page.
Asking for a price
When you ask for a price you choose up to three dealers. A dealer sees your name and phone number only after accepting your request. You agree that those dealers may contact you about that request, including by phone, SMS and WhatsApp, even if your number is on a Do Not Disturb register. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
Dealers and finance partners
Quotes and finance offers come from independent businesses. We check their documents before listing them but we do not guarantee any quote, stock, delivery date or loan approval. Any contract is between you and the dealer or lender. Partners are bound by our Dealer Partner Terms and Finance Partner Terms.
Reviews and content you post
Post only honest reviews based on your own experience and follow our Reviews and Content Policy. You keep ownership of what you write and give us a free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce and moderate it on the Service. We may remove content that breaks the rules.
Acceptable use
- Do not copy the Service’s data in bulk, scrape it or build a competing database from it.
- Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
- Do not use it to send spam, to harass anyone or to submit false requests.
- Do not pretend to be another person or business.
Our content
The Service, its design, text, data and tools belong to us or our licensors. Brand names, logos and images belong to their owners and are shown to identify their products. You may use the Service for your own, personal and non-commercial research.
Links to other sites
The Service may link to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Suspension and ending
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or the law. You may stop using the Service at any time.
Limit of liability
The Service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from relying on information on the Service or from a dealing with a dealer or lender, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, which for buyers is nothing. Nothing here limits a right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. Before going to court, please give us a chance to put things right through our Grievance Redressal process.
